Important Notes:
- Check the integrity of each product upon receipt.
- The cutting ring is a removable accessory. Be cautious during installation or replacement of the column to avoid leaving it out.
- Ensure that the cartridge is properly inserted into the guard column holder for correct operation (Cartridge must be purchased separately based on stationary phase).
Usage Steps:
- Insert the cartridge into the guard column holder with the initial orientation as indicated. Once set, do not reverse it. Place the column cap onto the guard column holder and hand-tighten it. Use a wrench to secure the connection between the guard column holder and cap by turning approximately 1/4 turn until tight.
Note: Only tighten enough to prevent leaks; over-tightening may lead to deformation.
- Attach the edge ring, connecting the threaded end of the ferrule to the inlet of the chromatography column:
a. For stainless steel edge rings, first ensure the ferrule is snug against the column inlet, then hand-tighten. After that, use a wrench to turn it between 1/2 to 1 full turn. For subsequent uses, hand-tighten and then use the wrench to turn 1/4 turn.
b. For PEEK edge rings, hand-tightening is sufficient for normal use. - Connect the chromatography column with the attached ferrule to the instrument, then turn on the flow rate and check for leaks. If there are any leaks, please reinforce the leaking connection following the steps above.

Guard Column Holder
Important Notes:
1.Check the integrity of each product upon receipt.
2.The cutting ring is a removable accessory. Be cautious during installation or replacement of the column to avoid leaving it out.
3.Ensure that the cartridge is properly inserted into the guard column holder for correct operation (Cartridge must be purchased separately based on stationary phase).
Usage Steps:
(1) Insert the cartridge into the guard column holder (the initial orientation of the cartridge is the operational direction, and it should not be reversed once used). Place the column cap on, hand-tighten, and then use a wrench to secure the guard column holder and the column cap, turning approximately 1/4 turn until tight.
Note: After inserting the cartridge, the connection between the guard column holder and the column cap should only be tightened enough to prevent leaks. Over-tightening may cause deformation.
(2) Connect the other end of the ferrule to the inlet of the chromatography column using tubing. Connect the chromatography column with the attached ferrule to the instrument, then turn on the flow rate and check for leaks. If there are any leaks, please reinforce the leaking connection following the steps above.

Important Notes:
1.Please check the integrity of each product when you first receive it;
2.Ensure that the column head end matches the type of connection for the inline filter.
3.The threaded length of column head ends may vary between different brands. After hand-tightening, use a wrench to turn about 1/4 turn until secure.
4.In-line filter discs are disposable; replace with new discs if necessary;
Steps to use:
- Align the in-line filter with the tip end of the column and hand tighten, then tighten with a wrench.
- Connect the column with the in-line filter connected to the instrument, turn on the flow rate and check for leaks. If there is any leakage, please follow the above steps to reinforce the leaking end (only need to tighten it appropriately, no leakage is enough, over-tightening may lead to deformation).
Replace the filter:
- Remove the in-line filter ferrule with a wrench.
- Place a new filter in the corresponding position and tighten it by hand.
- Use a wrench to continue tightening the in-line filter ferrule approximately 180°to prevent leakage.
